I cut a few fresh pine branches off of a tree in my yard to use in my habitat base for my doe mount. I didn't use any type of preservative for them because I don't have anything on hand in my shop. How long should these branches last?

Not long. Ever have a christmas tree that ran out of water? Same thing, I give them about 5 days before they really start to look brittle.

Alright, i guess they should last for the fair then. I know it was pretty stupid to not preserve them but like I said, I had nothing on hand lol.
I gotta get me some Never-Say-Dye.
