How many capes do you guys tan at a time. What type container do you use. I use saftey-acid for a pickle, what do ya'll use.

TMI! LOL!!! I try to limit it to about 30 capes. My paddle vat holds about 50. I would love to get a few more but they are kinda pricey. When I static tan I do about 10 at a time. At one time I posted my static tan formula on taxi.net www.taxidermy.net/forums/TanningArticles/05/k/052125758E.htmlAnd then it turned into a kicking match with Wilson so I left it alone.

i am a beginer, so i only do one at a time. the only tan i have used to this point is krowtan. i use a plastic 10 gal container with a lid.

i use the orange peel method , just peel and orange and squirt some orange juice on the hide, the citric acid will tan it almost immediately
