Here is my last years buck rack and a 10 pt. from a few year ago that my uncle got. i think i will order a form like the one i won to mount the 10 pt. i will be making reproductions of both of these racks do you all think i should mount these deer in the same pose for compitition.

thats entirely up to you Michael, pose doesnt seem to matter a lot when it comes to comps, except maybe in the masters division. attention to detail and anatomy are what you are going to be graded on the most, so study lots and lots of reference and have it actually in hand while you are mounting, been doing this for a few years now and still pull out my pics on every mount, whether its just to confirm an ear position or eye attitude, you'll never stop learning. not if you want to become a good and succesful taxidermist anyway, good luck, mountman

i like all of my mounts to look different. i generaly use different poses for each mount. whatever you decide wil be right because it is your decision.
