Dawn works great. Get the regular kind without bleach. Be sure to rinse well.
I have also used liquid Tide in the washing machine set on delicate when my girlfriend wasn't looking. They came out clean and soft.

Dawn works the best that I have used, be sure to just wash and not let soak too long.

The best I have found is Fat-B-Gone from Whitetail Designer Systems. It cost a bit more but the Dawn you seek is for dishes and that is about all it is good for. The only other product I would recommend is SUPER SOLVENT from Rittle's. If you are going to DP the coon the Dawn may work just fine for you. But if you are going to tan it, a degreaser designed to work on an acidic skin would be best. Look up the msds sheet on Dawn dish soap and you'll see the "active ingredients" is Sodium Hydroxide. This stuff will mess up the pH of your tanning vat like you would not believe! Just add one drop of Dawn to a pickle and see what happens. Then check the pH of that pickle and recheck in after an hour. It will keep going up. Most tanning is done best at a pH of 4. This is when fixation happens. If you use things like Dawn to degrease your skins before you tan them you end up chasing your tail trying to adjust the pH to 4.
Grit your teeth and buy some Fat-B-Gone for $18.00/QT or some ULTRA-SOFT for $15.00/QT and it will last a long time and the results are awesome!

ok i will be dping the hide because i have not experimented with tans yet, so it would be worth it to buy "fat-B-gone" or "ULTRA-SOFT" if i plan to tan.
