I'm joeym, and a regular on Taxidermy.net. I am a retired agricultural scientist. I have been a taxidermist since I was 15 yrs old. Now I am full-time, except for the numerous hours I waste weekly on the computer! I do taxidermy at a slow pace...one or two specimens a day. I have a farm that I half-ass manage and some timber acreage that I piddle around on...oh yeah, and a house that is 95% complete that I have spent the last year trying to finish. I do all types of taxidermy work...deer, birds, fish, mammals, skull cleaning, you name it. My motto is"If you don't hunt, then pick up something dead in the road ...I charge the same regardless!"

Hi everyone, I am James J, new member here, been doing taxidermy part time ( in Shreveport, Louisiana ) for about 15 years, just last year retired from regular job as a Professional Land Surveyor but am still only doing this part time so I can fish and hunt all I want to. Heard about this forum and decided to join in hopes that it will not get to be so much griping and cut downs and not as much unrelated stuff as it is getting to be on taxi.net, still go there but it is getting less each day, any way, glad to be here and lookinig forward to hearing from others.
