Well, doesn't look like too many people registered here yet but here's my intro. My name is Nina and I'm 15, I have been doing taxi for 2 years now (But only working on deer and small mammals) I don't really have any interest in working with fish or birds. I have competed once, last year at the PTA competition, and learned a lot from my score sheet. This fall I'm hoping to open up my own shop to customers, with the new PA taxidermy regulations coming into effect. my website is www.countrywayenterprises.com for pics of my work.

Good luck Nina, I see you registered at the bucket of guts the other day, trapperman.com is a good sight to vist also, not so serious on those sights like taxinet is. Lots of off topic talk and great pics of family, catches, etc. Did you ever get some protective gloves for fleshing ?

Hey! I'm new here like everyone else. I have a full-time shop for 10 months then guide snow goose hunts the other two. I'm not competing yet. I plan to if I ever decide to take some hours out of my week to dedicate to my stuff. Right now it's about 60+ hours a week on customer stuff plus trying to run a one-man show. I'm a grad of PIT and studied with Jason Snowberger and Stefan Savides. After 27 years of chemical plants, I lost my career due to an on-the-job injury. I decided my days of working for bosses I hated were over so now I'm the boss when my wife lets me be. I try to be helpful without being a know-it-all on the forums elsewhere. Lord knows I learn more from the folks on such forums than I will ever be able to contribute. I also try to avoid the pizzing match arguements but will be honest to the best of my abilities about subjects I am experienced in. My web site is www.5riversdux.com If I can ever help someone, please feel free to contact me here or thru my website. I purposely don't have a computer at the shop so it may be late at night or early morning before I can reply. Thanks, Doug Wynn 5 Rivers Taxidermy and Outfitters Benton, KY
